Starting on the shore of Reddall Reserve, Lake Illawarra, participants will paddle a shorter 2km course around buoys & obstacles. The course will be on the eastern side of Windang Bridge & within the flat water of Lake Illawarra.
Inflatable SUPs are to be used to ensure safety & fun. If you would like to rent a board for the race, please contact Bec at SUP Shellharbour via supshellharbour@bigpond.com as there are a limited amount of SUPs.

Why we created this event?
We believe stand up paddle boarding is for everyone, so this event is open to kids (8yrs+), recreational paddle boarders, able bodied competitors or those with a disability that allows them to SUP safely, but might need a little helping hand from a friend.
Lake Illawarra is a flat location allowing those who are not ready for a long distance or waves to compete in a friendly environment.
We'd love to party with you at the presentation evening, so to be sure to purchase a ticket for Saturday night's event... you might even win a Red Paddle Co SUP package valued at $1599!
